Katie MacMullin
Katie MacMullin is the founder of Andara, a Concord-based wellness space focused on supporting recovery from Lyme disease, Lyme co-infection, post-COVID, concussions, and other autoimmune illnesses like PANS/PANDAS. After having Lyme for years and discovering the holistic world in 2017, she is passionate about sharing natural ways to restore health on every level using accessible, powerful tools like breathing and kinesiology techniques for subconscious work.
Katie has hundreds of hours in globally recognized yoga trainings, a Reiki Master Teacher, and is a multi-certified Biomagnetic Pair Therapist in Lyme, Post-COVID, and Emotional protocols.
When not seeing clients or hosting groups, Katie can be found enjoying time with friends, collaborating with colleagues, researching how to ancient and new ideas come together, cooking with a recipe but not following it, hiking, boxing, dancing, writing, and volunteering.

Meet Your Retreat Hosts


Micayla Jean
Almost ten years ago, I was building my wedding photography business, which supported me wholly for almost eight years. During that time, I also had this really strong feeling that I was meant to be working with people in more intuitive, intimate and energetic ways. I wanted to create an experience for women to come together and share vulnerably and openly in a space where they felt safe, to begin letting go and shedding parts of their stories that no longer were serving them.
I wanted women to see, feel and know that they were not alone. But I thought, “who was I?” to create these spaces. I was simply, a photographer. The foundation of my business had always been “if you saw yourself the way the rest of the world saw you, you’d be astounded by your own beauty”. I’d been sharing vulnerably and creatively on social media in ways I hadn’t yet seen from anyone else (again, this was a decade ago!), and I had begun gaining some traction in that way.
I think people thought “if she could be honest and open, so I could I”. So, I created my first Vulnerability Workshop. I had no idea if anybody would sign up. It ended up selling out the first day.
Myself, and all of the women who attended, got to witness themselves in each other. They got to shed tears and feel joy with people who had once been strangers but they now felt some type of a bond with. I learned that in just a few hours, whether it be journaling our fears, vulnerabilities and desires onto paper or speaking them out loud, or writing them on our bodies (we did that!) there was space in these containers for healing, acceptance and connection.
The most powerful part of this story for me, is that I overcame the fears and doubts of “not being good enough” or “who am I to do this?” because I was surrounded and supported by people who believed in me, but most importantly because I just gave it a try! I tried something new.
The clarity came, first as a whisper, then I was able to sit with this creation and mediate, walk and write about what I was envisioning. And in each step to beginning these workshops, I was doing nothing profound other than following the next best step.
Sometimes we will be the first to do something and there will be no path to follow or instruction manual to get there, but surrounding ourselves with other people who have a dream they are ready to start living, is the strong start we need to begin now.
