Come experience your magic in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for a 2-night/3-day retreat full of connection, nature, learning, self-discovery, play, and relaxation. You will experience the gentle, profound practice of Energy Medicine Yoga, spend time in the great outdoors, and enjoy the supportive company of new friends. Enjoy being, connecting, and learning in cozy luxury and wild nature.


Imagine a weekend away that looks like...

You arrive on Friday evening with hopeful uncertainty and curiosity.

You receive a nourishing, home-cooked meal, meet your new friends, and settle in with some relaxing yoga & sound meditation before bed.

You wake up gently with the Saturday morning sun to an Energy Medicine Yoga session that centers and energizes you.

You prepare for a day in New Hampshire's beautiful & wild, nature, exploring and learning about the elements, and how they correspond to your emotional wellbeing. The evening kicks off with yummy, seasonally appropriate dinner, a deep yoga practice, and outdoor fire ceremony (& dessert of course!). 

After a restful sleep, you join the group for a final Energy Medicine Yoga session before laughing over another homemade breakfast.

You have the sense you don't want to leave quite yet, and find yourself in a beautiful closing ceremony that prepares you to retain the bonds created in community and the new deepened bond with yourSelf. 

You leave Sunday feeling alive, energized, grounded, and like you belong here in this body and in this community. You have a deeper understanding of who you are and how you fit into this beautiful world.

What does "You & the Elements" Mean?


Connect to yourself through the wisdom and movement of the 5 elements taught in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Energy Medicine Yoga. The elements correspond to 10 major emotions like courage, fear, anger, joy, and grief. They help us to see where we are out of balance emotionally and physically. We can restore harmony to each element as it is expressed in our bodies and lives by working with the emotion and natural world. Nourish your physical body with delicious foods and strength building movement. Integrate the physical and the unseen energy around you through movement & intentional time in nature. Leave the weekend feeling empowered, lighter, grounded, and replenished. 


Come as you are. You can bring an experience to process or simply arrive, curious what will show up for you. Experience the full arc of emotions with gratitude as your foundation.

Meet Your Retreat Leader

Your lead retreat facilitator and yoga instructor is Katie MacMullin, founder of Andara, certified Energy Medicine Yoga teacher in addition to 200-hour training in Hatha, Vinyasa, and a supplemental 25-hour Yin certification. Katie also has spent years as a practicing certified Reiki Master/Level III in the Usui lineage and a Biomagnetism Therapist with multiple advanced trainings, including a certified Emotion Protocol Practitioner. Her lifestyle beliefs are centered around Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine practices which encourage aligning with the seasons and elements. Most of her time is spent researching ancient and contemporary wellness techniques, practicing and refining her skills, enjoying time connecting with new and old friends, or hiking in the White Mountains.

Where You'll Stay 


The Bartlett Village House is a cozy, inviting place to step out of the routine of your everyday life. Built in the late 19th-century in the charming town of Bartlett, this retreat home feels more like an intimate B&B that you can full relax into. The house itself is within the White Mountain National Forest with easy access to North Conway, Jackson, and the Crawford Notch, plus all the trails and natural wonders within the 790,000 acres of the National Forest. Every season offers new opportunities to experience the quiet beauty and outdoor adventures of New Hampshire.   • Arrive, settle in, and join us in sacred a Welcome Circle to open up the intentions and energy for the weekend together

  • Spend more getting to know your new friends over a warm, homemade dinner with seasonal foods (and dessert, of course!)

  • Support digestion with a little gentle yoga followed by a dreamy sound bath to prepare you for deep sleep



  • (Optional) 30 minute sunrise meditation followed by tea, coffee, light snacks

  • Open your heart and energy to the day ahead with wood and fire Energy Medicine Yoga​

  • Nourish and fuel for the day ahead with a hearty, homemade breakfast with followed by some wisdom sharing and an activity to bring you deeper self-awareness

  • Come alive outside on a nature walk designed to connect you with the beauty in the world. Activate your senses in a new way and bring harmony to your mind and emotions with a special energy medicine exercise personalized to you

  • Return to the house for integration time and a delicious, dinner meal

  • Ground down from the energy-high day and get in touch with your expression of self-love with earth energies

  • Enjoy more time with your weekend family over a fire with treats and ritual



  • (Optional) 30 minute sunrise meditation followed by tea, coffee, light snacks

  • After a restful sleep, step out of bed and onto your mat for a special Energy Medicine Yoga class that will help you take all of your learnings forward from the weekend 

  • Enjoy a yummy Sunday brunch together before our closing circle together with sacred ceremony

  • Take home your collections from the weekend, and renewed connection to yourself, others, and the Natural World
