What is Flow with Purpose?


A weekly virtual gathering with wisdom sharing and yoga practice that corresponds with The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron.
Imagine getting together each week with other creatives and self-motivated seekers in a space where you get to express and integrate your ideas through your body.

This is not your typical yoga class.
This is not your average book club.

Flow means a steady and continuous stream of something.
When you’re moving on your yoga mat, you continuously cycle into new postures.
When you’re in a strategy meeting, you plan for potential blockages to flow.
When you’re present, you are aware of all the feelings moving inside of you responding to the environment around you.
When you’re chatting to a friend, you are sharing a continuous stream of thoughts, ideas, experiences.
Flow represents the feminine, watery state of allowing things to move with, through, for and in you with ease. Purpose is a defined, strong, masculine component that gives direction and meaning to the flow.
A river without banks becomes a destructive flood or a chaotic force which spreads itself thin over a large area.
In Flow With Purpose, you will have Katie as a facilitator and guide, plus Julia Cameron and a dedicated community, to keep you moving towards more vitality and supporting you in face of challenges.

What is The Artists’ Way?
Julia Cameron created a 12-step process for artists to unblock their creativity 40 years ago. The book walks you through stages of reconnecting you to your creative force (aka lifeforce!). Weekly exercises bring in more creativity and vibrancy while cultivating a stronger relationship to yourself mentally and emotionally. Paired with EMYoga and an accountability group, the Artist's Way becomes a beautiful self-growth process with enough structure and freedom for you to go deeper into each layer of transformation.

Note that you will purchase the book on your own. This is an effort to keep the actual club cost lower. This is a requirement of the club. You can access The Artists’ Way as a physical book, an e-book, or audio recording. You are strongly encouraged to make your purchase through a local book store or second-hand to support local and sustainable systems!
